Memorial Day
This day is often treated as if it were Veterans Day and for many it means nothing more than a 3 day weekend away from work. What Memorial Day truly means is beyond mere words.
Memorial Day is a day when we remember those who have fallen in service to our country. Veterans who's ultimate sacrifice is remembered one day out of the year. So many have blazed the trail to stand guard at Heaven's Gates and this is our time to honor and remember them. It is a day for all who call this great country home to remember that for the freedoms we take for granted others paid a heavy price.
If you know a Gold Star parent please tell them thank you and honor them this weekend for the sacrifice made by their family. If you know a Veteran who's final resting place is close by go visit and tell them Thank You.
